THE REAL COST OF INADEQUATE SEDIMENT CONTROL.

COUNCIL ENFORCEMENT

Sediment leaving the site and entering waterways triggers council enforcement action. Stop-work orders and fines are real consequences.

ENVIRONMENTAL LIABILITY

Discharging sediment into natural waterways creates environmental liability that goes beyond the construction phase.

INSPECTION FAILURES

Inadequate erosion controls are the most common cause of site inspection failures — delaying the next phase of your project.

The Peard Approach

HOW WE DO SEDIMENT CONTROL.

01

SITE-SPECIFIC SEDIMENT CONTROL PLAN

We design controls based on your site's topography, soil type, drainage patterns, and council requirements — not a generic one-size-fits-all approach.

02

INSTALLED BEFORE EARTHWORKS BEGIN

Sediment controls go in before the first machine cuts the ground. This is the correct sequence. Controls installed after earthworks have already started are playing catch-up.

03

MAINTAINED THROUGHOUT THE PROJECT

Controls are inspected and maintained throughout the earthworks phase. After every significant rain event, we check and rectify as required.

04

COUNCIL INSPECTION READY

Our sediment control installations are documented and auditable. When the council inspector arrives, your site is compliant.
